Could we look at adding a toggle/setting option on multi-select field types where if "on" a new form submission does not overwrite the existing field value stored, but updates the existing value to include the latest submission.
Liz Gibbs has requested this: Want to achieve this scenario : 2 forms. Form 1 adds X to a multi select field, Form 2 adds Y to a multi select field. Want X,Y in the field not just the last value entered.

I too would like to see option to "update" CRM imports. Know Siteglide has a lot on their plate, but I'd also like to see "update" functionality for Products, Webapps, etc. Otherwise I/clients have to download all the information first, hope that no one makes changes in the meantime while I/they make theirs, then upload the original data that was not changed so it doesn't get replaced by empty fields, along with new data.
I believe BC has this functionality. Thanks

Helen Eichel: Do you mean for CSV imports?

Matt Walter: Yes. (Sorry that my add-on question does not totally relate to Emily's request)

USE CASE:
For monitoring/consolidating activity by prospects interested in attending one of their many courses. There are different ways their prospects interact with the website. For example they may submit a form for any of the following in any order, and as many times as they like: various downloads (eg course info, applications, schedules) register interest, attend an info session, book an appointment. To be able to consolidate these 'actions' in one field to provide a summary would be ideal. Without consolidation the 2 overheads will be:
Multiple courses are offered: will need to manage a lot of separate fields for the actions performed by user.
Reporting: The info is is recorded in the individual form cases, but the consolidated field would would offer a very concise overview of interactions with the website.
