You can now manage multiple currencies in Siteglide, and output a currency changer front-end to allow the user to set their currency - https://developers.siteglide.com/currency-changer
You could manipulate this to auto-apply a currency based on a logged in user's location/preference.

Matt Walter: Thinking about our current multi currency sites in BC, we use a subdomain and thus send them to different checkout/form pages. Most of our customers don't need this (they're using payment forms), and being able to choose their currency on the form would be fine. I guess we'd need to be able to add different currency prices against products for the cart though so would need some way of holding the currency. TBH I can't think of a client who'd need this...we just get the card company to do the lifting :-)
