Images - Spaces in file name within Rich Text Editors
complete

We've fixed this in an image field specifically, but Khy has found a similar issue with images inserted from File Manager within a Rich Text field.
When image has a space in the file name, the path is broken when the whole Rich Text field is rendered.

Is it possible to add 'allowing capital letters' to this too please...across all file elements within SG.
Dean Vizer
Nick Fenmor Collins: Can you expand on this please? Images within RTE's that have a capital in direct URL should work fine

Dean Vizer: I'm pretty sure they don't in blogs for example

Nick Fenmor Collins: I've just done a quick test and it seemed fine for me.
If you've got an example of where it breaks let us know and we'll take a look

Hey Nick Fenmor Collins
This is currently a duplicate of https://roadmap.siteglide.com/bugs/p/images-spaces-in-file-name-within-rich-text-editors
We'll look at updating the RTE so that it changed to the correct
{{ 'file_name.jpg' | asset_url}}
on save thoughA

Why would we want to allow images with a space in the file name? Are we saying 'file name.jpg' is supported? when we should be insisting clients name their files correctly like 'filename.jpg', 'file-name.jpg' or 'file_name.jpg' Personally, I'd rather see Siteglide display a warning message that a file hasn't been named correctly when uploaded.
