eCommerce Subscriptions - Trial Period

We would like to introduce a free trial period to a Secure Zone subscription (ie. 30 days). The system would take the users credit card on initial signup but not change them for a period of time (ie. 30 days). It would grant them access for this period of time, then start to bill them after the free trial period. The user would need to be able to change plans (ie. Bronze, Silver, Gold) or cancel at any time in the process. The users member status needs to be able to be tagged and accessible via API's so it can link 3rd party tools for automated marketing and CRM. It would be a bonus if it was able to manually enter a lower price for the trial period (ie 50% less than full).

Can you let me know if or when this might be possible in SiteGlide?

You can create free trials using Discount Codes on Subscriptions -> http://help.siteglide.com/en/articles/3831674
Create a code for 100% which applies for X months. If required, you could then auto-apply the Discount Code.
This is a temporary workaround, as we will at some point have a complete 'free trial' feature.
